Painting Pottery: Color Me Mine

We went to Color Me Mine and painting pottery to kick off spring break.  It was Eli and my first time going, so we really did not know what to expect.  It ended up being a blast - something I would absolutely recommend!  Eli can't wait to go again!!!

I let him pick out a few pieces and he chose a bowl and three small figurines. 

Painting with the brushes was a lot of fun for him...and then he discovered the little bottles with fine tips for drawing a writing.  His underwater themed bowl quickly turned to a free for all!!

I painted a special bowl for Lucy, too, since she did not get to join us (as I said, I did not know what to expect going into it...the next time, I will take her!).

And a little bird to keep one of my potted plants company. :)
