The training wheels came off at the beginning of summer.
He learned to swim.
He can tie his own shoes.
He goes to full-day school.
And now...he has lost his first tooth!!
I felt like we were trapped in Karma Wilson's "Bear's Loose Tooth" for a while. Like Wren, Owl, and Badger, I pulled and pried, but the tooth stayed stuck tight.
Then, last night at 2:50 AM, Eli {loudly} charged into our bedroom to share his excitement: his tooth had fallen out at last! We are lucky he did not swallow it!!
Oh, happy day. I have never seen a more excited Eli. He is grinning from ear to ear!
