When Lucy came home from the hospital, her crib was set up in our bedroom - not that it mattered since we co-slept until she was three years old. She and Eli shared Eli's bedroom for playing, and after she turned three, she moved into the bottom bunk of Eli's bed. Now, Lucy has a room of her own. And I finally get the chance to decorate using girls colors, fabrics, and accessories! So fun!!
The kids were encouraged to pick out a color for their room. Lucy chose two colors - orange and purple. I came across some wonderful fabric down in Cannon Falls for her quilt (which my mother-in-law quilted on her long-arm machine).
I think we are both pretty happy with the results. :)
