Our summer has been so busy. And then it appeared that autumn had come early. I even went as far as to unpack all of our fall clothes in preparation for cool, windy days. Then, much to my surprise, summer decided to come back. We have been blessed with the most gorgeous weather of the summer this week and the kids and I have taken advantage of it by spending time at our neighborhood pool.
The Colby Lake Swim and Tennis Club was an added perk when we decided to buy the house. Located just a quarter of a mile from our front door, I pack up our towels and pool noodles and push Lucy in the stroller while Eli rides his bike. By walking, I get to sneak in a little extra exercise, too!

Believe it or not, both of the kids are taking off with swimming. Before moving here, Eli hated to get his head wet even in the shower! Lucy is my little daredevil. She will definitely be swimming independently next summer!

Another bonus - these relaxing days at the pool make for very, very sleeping little pumpkins! :)
